Accessibility Statement

We want hafetech.net to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. This statement describes our goals, what we have done so far, and how to contact us if something does not work for you.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines are the basis for accessibility requirements in many countries, including Section 508 in the United States and EN 301 549 in Europe.

2. What we do

  • Use semantic HTML, a logical heading structure, and landmarks so pages can be navigated with screen readers
  • Make all interactive elements reachable and usable with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators
  • Use accessible components built on React Aria for menus, buttons, and dialogs
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and logos
  • Use text sizes and color contrast that remain readable, and support browser zoom up to 200 percent
  • Avoid content that flashes or moves without user control

3. Known limitations

Some secondary text uses lower contrast to create visual hierarchy, and we are reviewing it against the WCAG contrast requirements. Our product websites are maintained separately and may have different levels of accessibility. We are working to address these issues.

4. Feedback and contact

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or if you need information in a different format, please email [email protected]. Tell us the page and the problem you encountered, and we will reply within 5 business days.

5. How we assess accessibility

We assess this website through self-evaluation, using automated testing tools together with manual checks for keyboard navigation and screen reader use. We review accessibility whenever we make significant changes to the site.
